Have you ever wondered if there’s more to Bigfoot than just a mysterious, ape-like creature lurking in the woods? The concept of “Bigfoot and the Woo” explores the possibility that this cryptid might possess supernatural abilities, such as telepathy, cloaking, or even interdimensional travel. These theories, though often dismissed by skeptics, delve deep into the unexplored realms of the paranormal, suggesting that Bigfoot might be more than just a legend — it could be a gateway to understanding the unknown.
Understanding the paranormal side of Bigfoot isn’t just about indulging in wild theories; it’s about expanding our perceptions of reality and challenging the boundaries of conventional science. As you dive into this intriguing topic, you’ll uncover a world where the lines between myth and reality blur, offering new perspectives on the mysteries that continue to captivate humanity.
Whether you’re a believer, a skeptic as I am, or somewhere in between, exploring Bigfoot and the Woo invites you to question, investigate, and perhaps even redefine what we know about the world around us.
Cloaking: The Invisibility Factor
These cryptids are known for blending into their surroundings, especially at night, making them nearly impossible to spot. But is this simply natural camouflage, or something more?
How Does Infrasound Help With Cloaking?
Some researchers, like Scott Carpenter, propose that Bigfoot uses infrasound to manipulate water vapor in the air, creating a prism-like effect that distorts light and makes the creature almost invisible. While this theory remains speculative, I think is a theory that should be examined under scientific conditions by professionals. Mr. Carpenter may be right. It certainly adds to the mystique surrounding Bigfoot and its connection to the Woo factor.
What Is Infrasound?
Infrasound refers to sound waves with frequencies below the lower limit of human hearing, which is typically around 20 Hz (hertz). While humans cannot consciously perceive infrasound, it can still affect us in various ways, often without us realizing it. These sound waves are longer and travel farther than higher-frequency sounds, allowing them to pass through obstacles such as walls, buildings, and natural terrain.
Infrasound in Research and the Paranormal
Infrasound is also a topic of interest in paranormal research. Some researchers propose that infrasound may be responsible for feelings of fear or the sensation of a “presence” in certain haunted locations. This could explain why some people report strange experiences in places where no visual or auditory stimuli are present
The Role of Vibration and Frequency
Another theory connected to Bigfoot and the Woo involves the idea that Bigfoot can change its vibrational frequency, making it disappear and reappear at will. This would certainly explain the many snow-covered meadow trackways where footprints stop in the middle of a clearing. As if the beast just vanished in thin air.
Ronon Coghlan, a paranormal researcher, suggests that if something vibrates at a different rate than we do, it becomes invisible and intangible. According to this theory, Bigfoot’s ability to vanish without a trace could be attributed to its ability to alter its vibration, stepping in and out of our reality.
Another great resource on this topic is Ron Moorehead’s book “The Quantum Bigfoot: Bringing Science and Spirituality Together.” This is the same Ron Moorehead who brought us the famous Sierra Sounds years ago. I highly suggest reading this book. Ron explores the possibility of how Bigfoot is interdimensional and capable of traveling using Quantum Physics.
Moving in a dimension that exists outside of the human light spectrum and the observable vibrational frequency. The math of quantum physics gives us clues that there is at least eleven dimensions in existence…possibly more. So, is it possible that the rules of quantum physics just might hold the answer to the Bigfoot vanishing mysteries?
I may bash the flute players and woo’ers, but I have buku (or “beaucoup” for you Francophiles) respect for Ron Moorehead as a researcher and his work. He may be on to something with his theory.
This concept, though seemingly far-fetched, aligns with reports of Bigfoot tracks that suddenly stop in the middle of a field, as if the creature vanished into thin air. Is it possible that Bigfoot may be using some form of interdimensional travel that science has yet to understand? Some folks in the Bigfoot and Woo community certainly think so.
Orbs: Mysterious Lights in the Woods
Orbs—strange, fast-moving lights—are frequently reported in areas where Bigfoot sightings occur. These orbs are often linked to the paranormal, appearing in stories about ghosts, UFOs, and now, cryptids. In the Bigfoot and the Woo community, some believe these orbs are connected to Bigfoot’s ability to travel between dimensions.
For instance, witnesses have reported following Bigfoot tracks in the snow, only for them to suddenly stop, as if the creature disappeared into thin air. Some suggest that the orbs are transporter beams, enabling Bigfoot to move between dimensions or planets. While this theory isn’t even close to being proven, it adds another layer of intrigue to the Bigfoot and the Woo phenomenon.
What do I personally know about orbs? I’ll tell you. Everything I’ve learned about orbs is easy…. DON’T RUN OFF CHASING THEM! You see orbs floating off in the distance in the dark, let them stay there. You don’t know what’s in the immediate area of an orb, or what can happen if you make contact. For me.., orbs are objects you study at a safe distance.
Pareidolia: Seeing Faces Where There Are None
In the world of cryptid research, pareidolia—seeing faces in random patterns—is a common phenomenon. This psychological effect leads people to perceive familiar shapes, like faces, in otherwise ambiguous stimuli. In the context of Bigfoot and the Woo, pareidolia often results in individuals seeing Bigfoot’s face in foliage, shadows, or other natural elements.
The picture above was taken here in Arizona along a river in central Arizona. And to provide a bit of context, as this picture was being taken, both individuals heard a “limb snap”. Something broke a large stick behind the subject. As they were leaving the area, a rock was thrown into the river next to them. When they got to their car as they were leaving, they heard a load “bellow” or series of grunts that carried up from the river below them…
What I see in the pictures is two dark shadows or shapes in the brush behind her. If you look on the left side you can see that there is a layer of brush behind her and then a gap of space behind the first layer of brush, followed by another layer of brush after the gap. It appears to be a couple of objects in the space between the brush.
On the right side of the pic, there are a couple of dark humanoid shapes behind that first layer of brush over her left shoulder. The upper shape which I marked looks very much like a “bust” or the head and shoulders of a man or ape like critter. The lower shape looks to be something possibly laying on it’s side or leaning over. I think it’s a couple of juveniles sasquatches who were watching them.
Pareidolia: The Bad Side Of The Coin
Now in this example below, it is obvious someone is either trolling the audience or making an attempt at humor here. But I have seen A LOT of pics online just like this. Let’s keep it real here, but red-circled pics are sort of becoming a joke in the community. Pareidolia is real, but there are way too many people I feel, are trying to contribute to this community without any science background or technical experience. They are applying their feeling or what they wish to be true to the equation with MINIMAL experience or skills. What is astounding is the number of people who flock to their side
I get it, everyone wants to be a citizen scientist. But if you’re going to be circling shapes and shadows on pictures, use some imaging tools beyond zooming in on a picture using Windows Paint. You don’t have to be an ex-military guy with a top-secret security clearance trained in photo analysis or interpretation. Obviously, it helps if you have that background experience, but as a citizen scientist, you can learn how to analyze a picture or video by educating yourself using the software tools available online and becoming an expert at it.
I think most of the folks claiming pareidolia in the cryptid community are the same kind of people who see “Jesus” in a water stain on their wall or ceiling after a rain. Jesus didn’t visit you, YOU HAVE A WATER LEAK!
While some argue that these sightings are genuine, many researchers urge caution. It’s easy for our brains to trick us into seeing patterns where none exist, especially when we’re eagerly searching and wishing for evidence. Nonetheless, pareidolia continues to fuel the Bigfoot and the Woo debate, as some claim these “faces” are real glimpses of the elusive creature.
Mind Speak: Telepathic Communication
Another element of Bigfoot and the Woo is the concept of “mind speak”—telepathic communication between Bigfoot and humans. Some individuals claim to have received messages from Bigfoot and Dogman, not through audible sounds, but through thoughts or impressions. This form of communication is often described as spiritual or otherworldly, with Bigfoot acting as a guide or protector.
Skeptics may dismiss these experiences as imagination, but for those who have encountered Bigfoot, the phenomenon feels very real. Whether it’s a form of telepathy or simply a heightened awareness, mind speak remains a key part of the Bigfoot and Woo conversation.
Where Do I stand on Bigfoot and the Woo?
So where do we stand on Bigfoot and the Woo? There’s no doubt that the supernatural and paranormal elements associated with Bigfoot add an extra layer of mystery to this cryptid. While some may find these ideas far-fetched, others embrace them as part of a larger, unexplained phenomenon. I, tend to disbelieve the “woo’ers” and consider them fringe loonies. I think a lot of them out there are like some old drug-addled hippy who likes to call herself “Fawn” or the guy who sits in the woods at night playing the flute to entertain a troop of squatches.
It borders on the nonsense in my opinion. I might think them crazy, HOWEVER, I will listen to their story. You might be a ‘flute player” but I wasn’t there to witness your experience. So while I think you may be foolish, I cannot discount your story and dismiss it outright. The only way to bring the woo into reality is for it to become another element, discipline, or specialty to study. Everyone wants to research bigfoot or dogman, but I can’t think of a single citizen scientist who for example specializes in studying infrasound and bigfoot, or dogmen and mindspeak.
